London, UK – November 26, 2019 – Cyberseer Limited today announced a partnership with Chronicle, now part of Google Cloud, to become one of the UK’s first MSSP’s to provide this state-of-the-art technology.
Cyberseer will be connecting Backstory to power its Managed Security Service (MSS) from January.
Built to analyse massive amounts of data, Backstory is a global security telemetry platform delivering incident investigation and threat hunting with sub second response times.
Backstory provides petabyte-scale log ingestion and storage capability coupled with built-in threat signals to enable analysts to identify and understand the details of an attack, at the speed of search.
Cyberseer has a proven track record of offering its customers the latest innovations in cyber security solutions that increase efficacy and bolster their defences.
“We are pleased to be adding Backstory to our portfolio as we see it as a game-changer in cyber security”
“2019 has been a tough year in cyber security with large organisations suffering some of the biggest and hardest attacks yet, so our customers are looking at the technologies of tomorrow to provide protection. We are pleased to be adding Backstory to our portfolio as we see it as a game-changer in cyber security, helping both the analyst and the budget holder” Garath Lauder, Director of Cyberseer.
“Cyberseer has demonstrated a successful track record of offering their customers new and disruptive technologies, many of which complement the Backstory proposition.
We are excited to be working with Cyberseer in the UK as one of our key MSSP’s and look forward to them joining us on this journey” said Enrico Risi, Head of Enterprise Sales EMEA for Chronicle.
What does this mean for our customers?
Backstory enables customers to collect and retain all of their log and telemetry data without the concerns typically associated with ingestion and storage costs.
Further to this, Backstory’s integration of multiple third-party threat intelligence feeds enables an immediate recursive look-back across all stored data to understand if a threat was prevalent within the environment prior to becoming a known Indicator of Compromise (IOC).
Provided to customers as both a stand-alone deployment and also as part of a managed service, Cyberseer provide comprehensive support across all deployments inclusive of critical activities such as data collection design and data ingestion.
